Travelers on British Airways can soon enjoy fast internet during flights without charge due to a new deal from the billionaire's satellite provider.

No-cost and Fast Internet for All

The airline stated that the free, “reliable and lightning-fast” internet service via the satellite provider is set to be accessible for passengers in coach, premium economy, or premium cabins as of next month.

Broad Rollout Throughout Various Carriers

The holding firm for BA, IAG, stated it had reached an partnership involving SpaceX for providing wifi access for more than 500 planes within its airlines, which also include the Irish airline, Iberia, plus Vueling.

Uninterrupted Connectivity starting at Boarding through Landing

The airline noted that this rollout of the service was included in a seven billion pound “upgrade” program and would offer smooth internet coverage for passengers starting at boarding to arrival, including when they are flying across large bodies of water or remote regions.

Members of BA’s frequent flyer program may send messages and plain-text messages during flights without paying, whereas flyers wishing to watch audio, movies, or movies during the journey if not flying in business or first can expect to be charged from four pounds ninety-nine to twenty-one pounds ninety-nine per internet plan.
